How It Works — Commission Your Artwork with MJLArt
Commissioning a personalised piece of artwork with MJLArt is a simple and enjoyable process designed to keep you informed and involved every step of the way.
STEP 1
Start by selecting a clear, high-quality photo that captures the personality and character of your pet or subject. Strong lighting, good focus, and a natural pose helps to create the most expressive and accurate artwork. If required we have a photo guide available to assist you in selecting the best photo
STEP 2
Submit your chosen photo(s) along with details about any special requests such as any specific dates the artwork is required for. You can do this via the contact form or by email I’ll respond quickly to discuss your ideas and provide guidance
STEP 3
Once you’re happy with the selected photo and delivery timescales a 50% deposit is taken to secure your booking (a final payment of 50% will be required on completion of work (STEP 5). This confirms your booking and allows work to begin
STEP 4
Your artwork is carefully hand-crafted using the chosen medium acrylic paint on canvas, graphite pencil or coloured pencils with attention to detail and expression. Throughout the process, you’ll receive updates to track the process
STEP 5
When the artwork is complete, you’ll be sent a final image for approval. Once you’re happy, a payment link will be sent for the remaining 50% balance to be paid, once received the piece is signed, framed if selected and packaged with certificates of authenticity. Free tracked UK postage is included for safe delivery, and international shipping is available
