An Exciting New Chapter for Matthew Lloyd Art
I'm delighted to announce that Matthew Lloyd Art is now represented at Purple Gallery, an established independent art gallery in the heart of Bournville, Birmingham.
A selection of my original acrylic paintings and fine art prints is now on display and available to purchase through the gallery, marking an exciting milestone in my journey as a professional wildlife and animal artist.
Bringing My Animal Artwork to Purple Gallery
For over 20 years, I've been developing my skills and passion for creating detailed, realistic animal artwork. My work focuses on capturing the character, beauty and individuality of animals, whether through the delicate detail of graphite pencil or the bold, expressive backgrounds of my acrylic paintings.
My contemporary acrylic collection has developed a distinctive style, combining predominantly black-and-white animals with vibrant backgrounds. The contrast reflects something that has always inspired my work: animals bring colour to our lives.
I'm thrilled that visitors to Purple Gallery can now experience these paintings in person, alongside a selection of my graphite wildlife prints.
A Wonderful Visit to the Gallery
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Purple Gallery to see my artwork on display and spend time chatting with visitors about my work.
Seeing my paintings hanging in a professional gallery setting was a particularly rewarding moment. After spending countless hours creating each piece in my Birmingham studio, it's wonderful to see the finished artwork presented for others to enjoy.
It was also a fantastic opportunity to meet people who share my appreciation for art and animals and to talk about the inspiration and techniques behind my paintings.
